Fundraising
As part of their entrance into the Virgin London Marathon, Glenwood Active are seeking to raise a massive £6,000 for Victa. Rather than just asking for sponsorship for the race itself, they are running a series of events throughout the coming months that you can come along to, have some great fun, and help them raise some of that money.

The current main events are:
Strictly Wine Tasting & Cheese – 7th February 2010 7pm-9pm at The Gate £15
Can’t tell your Pinotage from your Pinot Noir? Think Merlot was King Arthur’s magician? A relaxed chance to sample some wines from around the world, washed down with a selection of cheeses. Loosely based around some of the dances seen on Strictly Come Dancing, for beginners and enthusiastic amateurs alike. (No dancing required!)
